I get asked what is in my personal makeup bag all the time SO I thought I would share a picture. I obviously have waaaayyyyy too much stuff for just one bag. I have a few favs that get used almost daily...like CORALista from Benefit Cosmetics! Great for giving me a peachy pop on the cheeks to brighten my complexion. And I really would feel lost without mascara. If I do nothing else, I MUST put on mascara before I leave the house. Otherwise...EEW! As you can see, I love the drugstore brands as much as the prestige brands. There are some real gems to be found at CVS or Walgreens. I try to be open-minded about all brands. My professional kit isn't brand specific because I never know what types of allergies or preferences people will have when I am working. My personal kit isn't brand specific because I am a self-proclaimed total beauty product junkie. Makeup is fun to me and in my opinion, there are no rules!!
Yes people. This is where the magic happens for me!! And I really am this organized...

I was recently introduced to the site: modelmayhem.com. So far it seems like a great way to network with other professionals in the modeling industry. If you are a model or photographer on the site and in need of a makeup artist, feel free to add me as a friend!

FINALLY getting around to a new blog. Time flies when there are brides waiting I suppose...
Here are a few shots from the wedding of JD and Lisa, courtesy of Socialite Studios. I highly recommend Joelle!!! Just click on any of the pictures below for a link to her site to find out more about her.
I was lucky enough to do the makeup for Lisa and most of her bridal party. Her entourage was just a gorgeous as her, which made my job fairly easy.
If you've never been to Lowndes Grove Plantation, I highly recommend checking it out. It's absolutely gorgeous, inside and out. The perfect location for a romantic, Charleston wedding!!
